National Skills Academies

The College is proud to be affiliated with a number of National Skills Academies.

National Skills Academies (NSAs) are government-funded organisations that have been set-up to support quality training provision within specific areas or industries. NSAs provide services and standards for training and skills development, endorsed by industry employers and professionals.

There are currently of 17 National Skills Academies - all helping to improve the quality of training opportunities available, and make sure that training is totally relevant to the needs of businesses in that sector.

City College Plymouth is a Founder College of The National Skills Academy for Creative & Cultural. This means the College is connected to a network of 20 colleges and over 200 theatre and live music employers who all work together to create create fantastic training opportunites for people who'd like to work in the creative and cultural industries - and for those already employed in that sector but would like to up-skill.
