Apprenticeship Funding Help

Printer-friendly version

Would you like to take on an apprentice? Did you know that funding exists to support you in doing so?

The incentive is aimed at supporting those aged 16 - 24 into employment via an Apprenticeship programme, and provides grants to assist employers in taking on their first apprentice.

Small-medium sized employers can access funding of £1,500 when they hire a new apprentice - a great incentive to grow your workforce with an individual who is enthusiastic, motivated and keen to learn!

Employers who have not taken on an apprentice in the last three years are being encouraged by the National Apprenticeship Service to take on those aged 16 - 24. The £1,500 funding will be paid to employers in addition to the training costs of the Apprenticeship framework, which are fully funded for young people aged 16 to 18 and part funded for those aged 19+.
