Tuition Fees

2011/12:

 The level of fee that you pay will depend on the intensity of your course:

  • part-time Foundation Degree over two years (intensive) - £1,245 per year
  • part-time Foundation Degree over three years or part time HNC over two years - £830 per year.

2012/13:

Again, the level of fee will depend on the intensity of your course:

  • part-time Foundation Degree over two years (intensive) - £3,550 per year
  • part time Foundation Degree over three years or part time HNC over two years - £2,365 per year.

How to Pay Your Fees

For part-time foundation degrees starting in 2011/12 you can apply for a fee grant which is awarded according to your individual financial circumstances and course intensity. Eligible students will be able to apply for support from Student Finance England. This is a non-repayable grant and not a loan.

For part-time foundation degrees starting in 2012/12 you can apply for government subsideied loan to cover the tuition fees for your course.

Other Costs of Study

Part-time students can also apply for a course grant of up to £265 towards travel, books and other course costs. Your entitlement to this non-repayable grant is dependant on your individual financial circumstances.
