Sharron Robbie
FdA Business (full-time)
Former dental nurse, Sharron Robbie, left school 26 years ago with just a few ‘O’ Levels. She chose to return to study in 2002 so that she could achieve her aim of a career change. Keen to move into public relations, the College’s Foundation Degree in Business was the ideal route. After undertaking the two year course, Sharron went onto the Plymouth University to complete the final year and achieve a First Class Honours Degree in Business Administration. Sharron is currently employed as a Marketing Officer for a large public sector organisation in Plymouth.
Sharron says: "The foundation degree route at the College was the ideal way for me to achieve a formal academic qualification. Studying at the College provided me with the support and guidance I needed to achieve success and prepared me for progression to a full honours degree programme at the University."
