What's it all about? 

In today's competitive business world, managers must make decisions that deliver results on time and within budget. Our foundation degree will teach you to become accomplished in the key business fundamentals of managing the administration of systems and processes vital to supporting these business decisions. On successful completion of the first year you will be eligible to gain the Institute of Administrative Management diploma, progressing to the advanced diploma in year two.

Progression 

On successful completion you may be eligable to progress to:

  • the final yearof Plymouth University's BA (Hons) Business Administration degree and/or further professional qualifications in administrative management, or directly into employment
  • enter directly into employment.

Entry Requirements 

We welcome applications from those who have a minimum of four GCSEs at grade C or above including English and maths and one or more of the following:

  • 120 UCAS tariff points
  • a BTEC national award in a related subject
  • a 14-19 advanced diploma
  • an advanced Apprenticeship
  • an NVQ level 3 in a related subject
  • equivalent qualifications or relevant work experience.

Duration 

Two years

Are there any exams? 

Modules are assessed by a mixture of coursework, in-class tests and examinations.
