What's it all about? 

If you are interested in a career in building services engineering, but are not sure which route to follow then this course is ideal for you. It will provide you with a broad introduction to the building services sector and encourage progression to specific areas of the trades within it.

Progression 

Upon successful completion of this course it is expected that you will progress into employment in one of the sectors and study for an Apprenticeship in your chosen field.

There are no specific entry requirements, however you must show a willingness to engage and a genuine interest in the course that will enable you to progress into employment or further education.

There are four theory units related to the sector and practical units in the areas of:

  • electrical installation
  • plumbing
