How can your organisation be structured to make it more effective? How do you deal with a new competitor in the market? What do you need to know to sustain effective leadership? Our course will help you to gain a more in-depth understanding of strategic issues relating to your business or industry sector. We will help you expand your conceptual thinking and leadership skills to support your personal traits and authority, so you can deal effectively with such challenges.

Progression

Successful completion of this qualification enable access to higher degree courses such as MBA, MA and MSc.

Entry Requirements

In addition to the overall entry requirements, you should hold a diploma in management or an executive diploma in management, and/or have several years' experience at middle to senior management level.

Are there any exams?

Assessment will be through written report assignments, presentations and case studies. You will be expected to undertake research and identify theoretical concepts which must be used appropriately and critically analysed to support conclusions. You will also write a reflective summary for each unit to critically evaluate and appraise the usefulness of such concepts.

strategic information management
conducting a strategic management project
organisational direction
strategic planning
human resource planning
strategic leadership practice.
