What's it all about? 

This course is intended for project managers, site managers and supervisors as well as proprietors of small to medium sized construction companies. Client based personnel would also benefit from attending the course.

Entry Requirements 

There are no specific entry requirements, however candidates will be interviewed to assess their suitability for the course.

Five days

Business Benefits 

Anyone working as a site manager must have a valid SMSTS certificate to show they have a suitable knowledge of health and safety. All site managers need this certificate to be able to work on a construction site.

Course Content

What does the course involve? 

To give an understanding of your responsibilities and accountability for site safety, health and welfare, current health and safety legislation. This industry-recognised course is ideal for companies who need to meet the ever-increasing demand for evidence of sound health and safety management on site. You will be provided with their own copies of the Construction Skills publications, course notes and case studies and the construction site safety, health, safety and environmental information manual (GE700) as part of the course fee.
