Designed for those who find it difficult to manage the pressures facing them at work, this workshop provides practical strategies for preventing stress in the workplace and examines techniques for assessing stress levels, identifying its causes and overcoming it. The Health and Safety implications of not dealing with stress are also covered. This workshop is an excellent tool for HR professionals and those responsible for helping others to deal with high levels of stress.
In our experience in order to be successful on this level of course you will need one of the following:
Learn how managers and individuals can manage stress positively at work in order to improve performance. Appreciate the impact of too much and too little pressure and the cumulative effect of life-changing events. Practice goal planning, prioritising and managing time more effectively, and identify ways of improving team performance by managing stress.
There are opportunities for informal assessment throughout the workshop, with a view to developing practical strategies for use in everyday situations.
