Since 1990, Long Term Placements for  the CHASE network: colleges in Norway, Sweden, Finland, Latvia, Hungary Italy, Spain, France, Belgium, Germany, Eire, Spain and Turkey, Iceland.

Funding for these long term placement projects was received from: Young Workers, Petra and Leonardo da Vinci Programme.

Short term placements have also been organised over these years for staff from a number of EU Colleges – arrangements relied on reciprocal arrangements and the LdV Programme.  A number of curriculum areas are and have been involved, tourism, hospitality, floristry, hairdressing

Placement  programmes for students with LDD have been organised for the past 6 years in Sweden, Finland and Germany. This Programme is further funded till 2011 through the LLP

The Placement Programme for Carpenters has received further funding for the years 2009 and 2010.

A VETPRO Project has been funded for 2009/10. For destinations in Northern Spain, Turkey  and Germany., curriculum areas: hair & beauty, hospitality, environmental and sustainability concerns

Work shadow placement in France was funded by Comenius.

Placement co-operation was established for the IT department, Business department. 

Discussions for development in other areas are planned for the autumn term.
