City College Plymouth is a well-established government-funded institution located on two main sites in the west of the city of Plymouth - a 15 minute walk from the city centre. With 800 staff and approximately 3,000 full-time students (as well as 23,000 who attend on a part-time basis) the College is one of the largest in the UK. There are 130 international students from 25 different countries.

• subscribes to HOST - a national organisation in the UK which organises visits to British families for international students, giving them a unique insight into British culture and way of life.
