
The International Office works closely with other departments and services within the College to provide a comprehensive advice and support service to international students, including advice on accommodation and finance, careers education and guidance, travel, learning support, personal problems and childcare.
Services and facilities at the College include:
- on-site libraries with books, journals and audio-visual and electronic media
- 1,500 networked computers throughout the College offering access to the internet and e-mail, including computers in the libraries which are enabled for use with languages other than English
- free English language support sessions available to all international students
- student restaurants, a brasserie, a café and a training restaurant - as well as a deli for salads and soups, and a coffee shop
- on-site shops for buying books, stationery, drinks and snacks
- hair and beauty salons
- Student Services, who can provide advice on many aspects of student life
- a free College bus linking the College to the city centre
- Students' Union
- Student Liaison team, which organises a programme of sporting, leisure and recreational activities for all students - this is an excellent opportunity to keep fit, make new friends and try new sports
- All students are allocated a personal tutor who can assist with academic issues; in addition, there are course tutors and individual faculty offices who can provide support and guidance.
