At City College Plymouth we offer five main types of course which are suitable for international students.

1. A full-time English language programme, with courses starting throughout the year, at different levels to suit individual ability.  Many students come to the College to study English first before progressing to another academic course.  The College also offers an English Language Summer School (hotlink) during July each year.
2. A one year International Foundation Course - an ideal way to reach the academic and English language levels required for entry to a university in the UK.  Different subject-specific pathways are available which prepare students for progression to their chosen courses at university.
3.  A levels in 30 subjects - two years of full-time study, the traditional route to university in the UK for most British students.
4. Two year full-time foundation degrees - the new UK vocational higher education qualification offered in partnership with the University of Plymouth.  Successful completion of two years at the College entitles students to progress to the third and final year of an undergraduate degree at the University of Plymouth.
