The International Office

The College has a special International Office to help international students from their first enquiry to graduation, and everything in between! The office is staffed by a team of professionals who can provide help and advice on many aspects of students in the UK.

The International Office will:

• answer enquiries about studying at City College Plymouth by letter, phone and e-mail
• attend exhibitions and seminars in many countries to meet potential students and provide information on studying in Plymouth
• work closely with a network of representatives who can provide you with help and advice in your own country on behalf of the College
• assist you with the application process and provide the documents you need to apply for a visa
• assess your qualifications and make sure you choose a course suitable for you
• provide advice on matters relating to your tuition fees and living costs
• help you find suitable accommodation in the city
• provide advice on renewing your visa during your time at the College
• give you information on how you can work during your time as a student and on how to register with a doctor
• organise an International Student Orientation and Welcome Session in September for all new international students
• arrange a programme of social events and trips
• be a friendly, welcoming and supportive team only too willing to help you with any aspect of your time in Plymouth!
