14-18 Vocational Programme

City College Plymouth's 14-18 vocational programme aims to give you the chance to start real training for future employment from the age of 14.

You can choose one of our programmes in place of a school day as part of your Year 10 and 11 options. The subjects you can choose from are:

• automotive
• childcare
• construction
• engineering
• hair and beauty
• hospitality
• public services
• sport
• tourism.

When you have completed your programme you will be able to choose from various options and consider whether you:

• continue your training on a full or part-time basis
• progress onto an Apprenticeship programme
• continue studying at school
• apply for a job.
