City College Plymouth is running two specialist seminars aimed at those working in the hospitality and catering industry.
A game seminar with leading-UK game chef, José L Souto is being held on Wednesday 21 January at the College's Kings Road Centre. The seminar will start at 10.00am with a lecture on the recognition and preparation of feathered and small furred game. Lunch will be served in the College restaurant at 12.00 noon with game dishes on the menu and will be followed by a lecture about venison. The day will finish at 3.30pm
A sugar seminar is being held on Friday 23 January also at the Kings Road Centre. Highlights include a demonstration of modern techniques for sugar artistry by renowned, Javier Mercado.
Hospitality project manager at the College, Teresa Gardner said: "These are the first of a series of culinary arts workshops that the College is offering. These workshops are particularly useful for those looking at updating their skills in this highly competitive industry."
