City & Guilds level 1 and 2 courses run two days a week and can help those looking to retrain, gain valuable IT skills. Due to Government funding, these courses are free for those on benefits, and work well for those seeking employment.
The College's Access to Higher Education Computing course is studied on a part-time basis, three days a week and is a perfect course for those who have been out of education for a while, but would like to study computing at university.
Russell Pitt, ICT course leader at the College, said: "Our ICT courses are ideal for those looking to update their skills and change their career direction during this time of economic hardship. IT skills are in need all over the country and this includes the South West."
