Hair and beauty students at City College Plymouth recreated their winning looks to present St Luke's Hospice with a cheque for £489.

The money was raised at the College's annual hair show - 'Inspire Creativity' recently held at the Guildhall - where the level 1 and 2 students demonstrated their talents in hair, make-up and nail art to themes, such as 'Chocolate Box' and 'Dolly Mixtures'

Louise Harrop, head of academy for hairdressing commented: "We're really pleased that we were able to raise this money for such a worthwhile charity and the students had a great time showcasing their talents."
