Providing education and training to Plymouth, Devon, Cornwall and the wider community
Public service students at City College Plymouth took part in a mock major incident exercise - 'Operation Fallen Angel' - the scene of a major air crash incident.
The students took on the roles of bronze commanders and were expected to manage the scene of a major accident, as part of their module - 'The Planning for and Management of Major Incidents'
The Royal Air Force ran the day, with the help of the Police, Fire and Ambulance services, all of whom gave invaluable advice and guidance to the students.
Lindsay Chapman of City College Plymouth commented: "The networking between the College and the emergency and non-emergency services in the area is invaluable to the Public Services course, as the students are given a realistic insight into the role and responsibilities of the uniformed services."
