City College Plymouth Appoints New Head of Business School

Becky Tucker has been recruited as Head of The Business School at City College Plymouth. Her role is responsible for continuing to develop a Business School with a reputation for delivering quality where customers both internally and externally can learn from the best in the business. The aim of The Business School is to provide outstanding solutions for individual and organisational business needs.

Becky Tucker has gained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Training and Education from Plymouth University and is currently studying towards her Master’s Degree with the University.

Her previous positions have included working as a Director of Talk Training and Deputy Chief Executive of a large Community Association in Teignmouth, Devon. She has been focussing largely on adult education, in particular working with businesses to upskill their workforce during the economic downturn.

The Business School comprises of the lean academy, sales academy, initial teacher training, workplace NVQs including assessor and verifier awards, management and leadership, and professional qualifications.
