College Recognised at Marketing Awards

Staff at City College Plymouth are celebrating after being recognised for their collaborative approach to working with employers in the recent Further Education (FE) Marketing Network Awards 2009.

Members of the Marketing team travelled to Coventry to receive the award, which was awarded for the work the College has been involved in during the recent economic downturn.

Working closely with Jobcentre Plus and major city employers, the College has been offering advice, support and training to those facing redundancy at PACE – Plymouth’s Action Centre for Employment.

The College’s Beat the Recession marketing campaign was highly commended at the glittering awards ceremony.
