Providing education and training to Plymouth, Devon, Cornwall and the wider community
Over 20 sport and public service students at City College Plymouth are donning their trainers to raise much needed funds for Sport Relief.
The students have been preparing for the Sport Relief Mile throughout their fitness and sport classes at the College, whilst studying for BTEC National Diplomas in Sport and Public Services.
All the money raised by the students will be spent to help transform the lives of poor and vulnerable people, both at home and across the world’s poorest countries.
Lucy Worsfold, Lecturer in Sport, at the College said: “It’s a great opportunity for our students to take part in Sport Relief and raise money for a very worthy cause. They are all very motivated for the challenge and eager to complete the course in a good time.”
