College Formally Recognised as an Investor in Careers

City College Plymouth has received its fourth ‘stamp of approval’ by the Investors in Careers assessors – the College first achieved the Standard in July 2000.

The College was inspected against the Investors in Careers kitemark for the quality of its information, advice and guidance and careers education and guidance services.

The award has been accredited for three years as the College was able to demonstrate its commitment to providing quality services to enhance the employability and industry knowledge of its students.

Eddie Beech, Careers Co-ordinator at the College said: “I am really pleased that the excellent work we do at the College has been formally recognised by the Investors in Careers assessment.

“What this shows is that we have not only maintained our standards but have shown commitment to developing services to meet the needs of our students in this changing world.”

The College was recently recognised as an Investor in People.
