Sex, drugs and alcohol issues will be tackled at College

Students at the CollegeSex, drugs and alcohol will be the focus of an event for students at City College Plymouth on Tuesday 21 and Wednesday 22 February 2012.

‘Affairs of the Heart’ is a national campaign that will show students where they can go for help if they have questions or concerns about relationships, alcohol and drugs.

The College’s Student Liaison team have been working with external organisations including Platform 51, Shelterbox and the NHS to put on the event.

Debs Royle, Student Liaison Assistant at the College, said: “Affairs of the Heart is a great campaign which promotes students having love and respect for themselves, their fellow students, the College, Plymouth and the whole world! The campaign provides an opportunity for students to discuss, interact with, and learn about life’s challenges in a comfortable and fun environment. I’m really looking forward to getting stuck in!”

Students will also be able to take part in a game of ‘All Star Mr and Mrs’ for a chance to win a year’s membership to the National Marine Aquarium for two people.
