At the College there are various sporting activites you can get involved in. There are sporting activities for those who wish to continue playing sport at the College and for anyone who wishes to try something new - including water sports.

Football Development Centre

Do you want to study, continue with your football and get a professional coaching qualification?  The College's Football Development Centre offers male and female students, who are under 19, the chance to do just this - without scarificing important options. You will study a full time course while training and playing football on a regular basis.

Recent graduates from the FDC include Ben Tozer, who left the College to join Swindon Town and was signed to Newcastle United in the 2008/09 season.

Further Education Sports Co-ordinator  (FESCo)

If it's not football, but another sport that you have a passion for, then the College's Sports Co-ordinator will be able to assist you. The FESCo's role is to help students at the College get into sport, from a taster through to coaching.  At City College Plymouth our FESCo is also a sports lecturer, and has many contacts with local sporting organisations. Whether you’re in it to have fun, get fit or just to make a bunch of new friends, here’s your chance!
