City College Plymouth works closely with local, regional and national employers as a training partner and through our highly successful Employer Endorsement Scheme. Building upon the excellent relationships we have with industry we have introduced a new service, theworkspace, which aims to further support the employability agenda.
With widening participation it has become ever more critical to ensure that our students gain additional skills in order to compete effectively in the labour market.

The new centre, which is located at our Kings Road site, offers a range of activities to encourage students to achieve amongst other things:

Members of the College’s Employer Endorsement Scheme already provide incredible support to the College and its students. theworkspace now aims to take this support further by encouraging even greater working partnerships, to the benefit of our students and ultimately you the employer.
