“Studying the Dance course at City College allowed me to experience a wide variety of dance styles and help me to gain a theoretical understanding of dance and choreography.
“Over the two years that I was at the College I organised, choreographed and performed in many shows including the launch of City College Plymouth which was broadcast on local television.
“Upon completion of the course I took up a place at The Royal Academy of Dance in 2009 and graduated with honours and a 2:1 classification. I am passionate about dance and am so pleased that my training from City College helped me to gain a place at The Royal Academy of Dance and has led me to my dream job.
“In 2012 I set up my own dance school – the Stephanie Boast School of Dance. In 2014 the school won the Dance School of the Year Award and has also been recognised this year with the Silver award.”
