What's it all about?

This qualification aims to raise awareness of the harmful effects of alcohol use, and engage students in understanding issues that can impact on health and well-being.

Course information

To be awarded the Level 1 Award in Alcohol Awareness, you are required to successfully complete the following mandatory unit:

  • introduction to alcohol awareness for the individual.

There are no specific entry requirements for this course.  

This qualification is assessed via an internally assessed and externally quality assured portfolio of evidence.

Upon successful completion, you may progress to the following

courses:

  • Level 1 Award in Mental Health Awareness 

  • Level 1 Award in Sexual Health Awareness 

  • Level 1 Award in Awareness of Substance Misuse 

  • Level 1 Award in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care 

  • Level 2 Certificate in Equality and Diversity
