Would you like to improve your understanding of mental health with an NCFE qualification at City College Plymouth? Whether you are considering this course from a personal or professional perspective, the Level 2 Certificate in Mental Health Awareness covers anxiety, stress, phobias and mental health legislation. It is a four week course, studied two days per week. This is a recognised level 2 qualification accredited by NCFE.

- understanding phobias
- understanding mental health legislation
There are no specific entry requirements.
You will be assessed via paper-based tests and online assessments.
Subject to entry criteria this course could help you to progress onto another health related programme, for example the Level 3 in Health and Social Care diploma at the College (subject to achieving entry criteria and a clear DBS check).
Fees quoted apply to courses starting in the academic year 2020/21 (August 2020 – July 2021). There may be a slight increase in fees for courses starting 2021/22.
If you are aged 16-18, due to Government funding, tuition fees may not be applicable for your course. (Please note: this does not apply to Foundation Degrees or Access to Higher Education courses, and other courses not eligible for public funding.)
