About the course

Successful business communication and marketing means being able to inform, persuade, inspire and motivate your colleagues and customers. In order to succeed you must know how to effectively communicate your message and effectively use different platforms. And that’s where this course comes in!

This highly interactive half-day workshop will look at how you can identify the best story to tell for marketing, sales and other business purposes. Chris Slade, ex BBC Spotlight and ITV reporter, and brand communications expert, will give you the skills you need to tell your story clearly and concisely, as well as giving you tips on how to best engage your audience. At the end of the workshop you will have the confidence to clearly express yourself so that others will understand you, and feel inspired!

What you'll learn

This course will cover the following topics;

  • introduction –  why do you need a ‘story’?
  • preparing a 30 second pitch
  • pitching to camera (practical session)
  • finding the business story.

We also include a networking buffet lunch at the end of the course.
