Are you a gas engineer working in the caravan industry? This City College Plymouth Gas Safe approved course provides initial qualification for Caravan Gas Water Heaters (WATLP2). It will provide you, on successful completion, with a Gas Safe card and registration with Gas Safe. Designed for gas engineers working within the caravan industry, or looking to expand their skill set to move into this field, this course will teach the skills needed to install, service, repair and commission caravan gas water heaters.
You will be required to hold the CCN1 and/or CONGLP1 qualification.
Assessment is based on a combination of practical assessment and theory papers.
On successful completion of this course, you could benefit from increased opportunities in business and employment. You may also wish to progress onto another course in Construction and the Building Trades at the College.
Fees quoted apply to courses starting in the academic year 2021/22 (August 2021 – July 2022). There may be a slight increase in fees for courses starting 2022/23.
If you are aged 16-18, due to Government funding, tuition fees may not be applicable for your course. (Please note: this does not apply to Foundation Degrees or Access to Higher Education courses, and other courses not eligible for public funding.)
