What's it all about?

By completing this qualification, you will develop in-depth knowledge of behaviour that challenges which could support progression onto other appropriate qualifications and into relevant employment in the health and social care sector. It could be useful for those working in education settings.

Course information

You will study the following units:

  • unit 01 – understand behaviour that challenges knowledge
  • unit 02 – understand how to support positive behaviour knowledge
  • unit 03 – understand the importance of effective communication and the management of behaviour that challenges knowledge
  • unit 04 – understand the role of reflection and support for those involved in incidents of behaviour that challenges.

Please note that this course is only available to those 19 years old or over.

There are no other specific entry requirements for this course.

You will be assessed by your lecturer or assessor using a range of methods. This could include direct observation in the workplace, a portfolio of evidence, written assignments or a task.

You may progress onto a range of other health and social care distance learning courses at the College.
