What's it all about?

Whilst this course is centred around Technology Enabled Care (TEC), the aim is to develop your confidence and person-centred care skills, allowing you to explore and develop not only your digital knowledge but also your knowledge around the safeguarding requirements relating to TEC. Similarly, if you are looking for an introduction to the care sector, this course is an ideal introduction for you to learn in a supportive and nurturing environment. This is a gentle introduction to technology within the care sector, which is transferable to both a care setting or a further qualification.

Working with experienced lecturers you will navigate your way through this nine-week course and work towards an end goal. Whether you are aspiring to work in a care home, or are looking after a loved one in the community, this course will boost your digital knowledge aimed to help you on your caring journey.
