About the course

Designed to help you understand and prepare for the introduction of the new General Data Protection Regulations coming into force in May 2018, this course is essential for anyone who deals with data handling and communication in business. The GDPR will replace all current data handling laws – including the 1998 Data Protection Act – so businesses need to understand the impact this new legislation will have on their operations. This one day workshop will not only provide you with an understanding of the imminent changes but will also provide you with the tools and templates that will be required so that you can go back to your business and start preparing for May 2018.


What you'll learn

This course will provide a range of tools and documents to help you manage those responsibilities under GDPR, including; personal data registers, content forms, privacy notices, policy statements, subject access records, withdrawal of consent documentation, retention guidelines and how to maintain ongoing due diligence.
