Have you ever considered a career working abroad as a holiday representative? This course will teach you about the different aspects of becoming a holiday representative and you will find out what the job really involves to fully develop your skills to stand out from the rest. The industry look to recruit responsible, hard-working and motivated individuals every year, so what are you waiting for?
This course is comprised of multiple units that include:
- investigating employment opportunites for resort representatives
- understanding the role of a representative in a resort
- preparing for the start of the holiday season
- managing airport and transport duties
No formal qualifications are necessary to complete this qualification, only a good level of written and spoken English.
This course is assessed by coursework.
On successful completion of this course you could seek employment with tour operators such as TUI and Thomas Cook or become an entertainment representative in parks such as Butlins.
You can also continue your learning at the College by enrolling on a higher level travel and tourism course.
Fees quoted apply to courses starting in the academic year 2020/21 (August 2020 – July 2021). There may be a slight increase in fees for courses starting 2021/22.
If you are aged 16-18, due to Government funding, tuition fees may not be applicable for your course. (Please note: this does not apply to Foundation Degrees or Access to Higher Education courses, and other courses not eligible for public funding.)
