This course is ideal for those who can use their Office software, and maybe even a bit of cloud storage, but would love to be able to use it more effectively. You’ll look at a range of software and learn how to do the things you may not know yet. Tables, functions, calculations and Google Drive will all be covered and you’ll go away with skills that will make you more employable and able to get over those frustrating problems when using your software.
In this course, you will cover:
- spreadsheet software
- using the internet
- word processing software.
The course is aimed at adults at varying levels. You will be assessed at the level you are working at so as long as you can open Office and have some basic knowledge, the course will be suitable.
There are no exams. You will be assessed by practical work.
You may progress to a range of other computing and IT courses at the College.
Fees quoted apply to courses starting in the academic year 2021/22 (August 2021 – July 2022). There may be a slight increase in fees for courses starting 2022/23.
If you are aged 16-18, due to Government funding, tuition fees may not be applicable for your course. (Please note: this does not apply to Foundation Degrees or Access to Higher Education courses, and other courses not eligible for public funding.)
