The BA (Hons) degree will enable you to top up your skills from our excellent Foundation Degree programme. While taking your studies further in a practical and theoretical sense, you will also go the extra mile and develop your business skills and general employability. This final year is intended to complement and build on the skills gained at Foundation Degree level, so please do look at our Foundation Degree in Live Events Production for further detail as to what you will study.
You will study the following subject areas:
- honours project (live events)
- multi-disciplinary installations
- business and management skills
- live events sector
- broadcasting technologies.
We welcome applications from those who have all of the following:
- a Foundation Degree or equivalent level 5 qualification awarding 240 HE credits
- five GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above, to include English and maths
- equivalent qualifications
- relevant work experience.
You will be assessed primarily through coursework.
Upon successful completion you may progress to further research or study, for example a PGCE or MA.
The skills you will learn from this course will enable you to pursue a career in event management. Many of our students have successfully gone onto careers straight away, working with leading industry figures including Tokio Myers and at the Royal Opera House.
Fees quoted apply to courses starting in the academic year 2022/23 (August 2022 – July 2023). There may be a slight increase in fees for courses starting 2023/24.
If you are aged 16-18, due to Government funding, tuition fees may not be applicable for your course. (Please note: this does not apply to Foundation Degrees or Access to Higher Education courses, and other courses not eligible for public funding.)
