This course provides a modern approach to mathematics if you want to take your knowledge of the subject further. The level 3 course is based around the content of the new GCSE maths higher tier and includes 20% of an A Level qualification.
This is particularly ideal for you if you are studying subjects such as business, health and social sciences, psychology, science, georgraphy or engineering.
Please note, if you are between 16 and 18 years old, this course is free.
This course will help you to:
- be better prepared for the mathematical demands of further/higher education and employment
- apply mathematical reasoning to solve real life problems
- analyse and interpret data
- confidently deal with everyday financial matters.
You will be assessed by two written exams.
On successful completion of this course, you could go on to study one of the various courses we offer at the College.
Fees quoted apply to courses starting in the academic year 2020/21 (August 2020 – July 2021). There may be a slight increase in fees for courses starting 2021/22.
If you are aged 16-18, due to Government funding, tuition fees may not be applicable for your course. (Please note: this does not apply to Foundation Degrees or Access to Higher Education courses, and other courses not eligible for public funding.)
