Food science plays a vital role in understanding the content and effect of food on the human body.
City College Plymouth is extremely proud to offer this high quality, advanced level BTEC Diploma in Food Science, which is equivalent to three A Levels.
You will learn from experts in our specialist, well-resourced facilities, and benefit from the College’s close links with industry.
This course has a varied learning programme which can enable you to progress into the food science industry or on to a wide range of universities studying subjects ranging from nutrition, microbiology, food technology and product design and testing.
You will get hands on in lab settings whilst looking into more specialist units that explore and assess the human relationship with food.
