The CIPD Level 3 Certificate in People Practice is a foundation-level, professional qualification based on the CIPD Profession Map.
The Map was launched in 2018, having been developed in collaboration with a wide range of experts working at the heart of the profession. It sets the international benchmark for the people profession and provides a strong foundation to give people professionals the confidence and capabilities to guide their decision-making, actions and behaviours.
You will study the following topics:
- business culture and change in context
- principles of analytics
- core behaviours for people professions
- essentials of people practice.
This qualification is designed for those who want to learn about people practice and will give those not already working in a HR environment the toolkit to do so. You must have good IT skills and be able to use Word, access Zoom and HE Moodle and have online computing access.
Assessment for the CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate in People Practice is employer-driven and aimed at real scenarios that students may encounter in their future career.
This qualification is not graded. You will receive either a pass or fail. All assessment criteria must be met in order to achieve a pass.
There are no formal exams.
Upon successful completion you may be able to progress to the Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management at the College.
Fees quoted apply to courses starting in the academic year 2021/22 (August 2021 – July 2022). There may be a slight increase in fees for courses starting 2022/23.
If you are aged 16-18, due to Government funding, tuition fees may not be applicable for your course. (Please note: this does not apply to Foundation Degrees or Access to Higher Education courses, and other courses not eligible for public funding.)
