Introduction -An introduction to who we are, what to expect from the day and what you will be gaining from the session (better communication, building rapport within the team, improved presentational skills etc).
Ice breaker activities -performance based activities used to build an ensemble which require communication and presentation skills.
Introduction to performance skills and how these skills cross over in business -Identification of necessary skills in performance and business
Body language and presentation skills –after a group discussion on first impressions, body language and building rapport we move onto a practical exploration of how we communicate physically using facial expressions, gestures, posture, movement and energy levels. This will use drama based exercises which encourage a confident and self-assured presentational style.
Vocal projection and clarity of communication -in this section, we will be exploring how best to use our voices in professional settings. Taking the group through a range of simple vocal exercises which are designed to improve voice projection and clarity when delivering confident presentations, holding meetings or making speeches.
Team building and problem solving activities –this section is based around ensemble building skills and techniques that are used in the performing arts industry which encourage participants to build better rapport, work as a team, think creatively and work towards a common objective.
Evaluation – this is a chance to reflect on the skills explored and discuss how they can be used practically in the workplace.
