About the course

Do you want to work in the police, security or another criminal justice agency? This Level 2 Diploma in Police, Crime & Community will give you an in depth knowledge of the criminal justice system, covering the law, criminology and relevant criminal justice legislation. It will give you a chance to explore equality and diversity which is important to the CJS, while also planning for your career so you know exactly what it takes to be successful in your chosen profession. We also like to throw in a little fitness!

  • career planning
  • improving health and fitness
  • employment in the uniformed public services
  • citizenship, the individual and society
  • law and its impact on the individual in public services
  • crime and its effects on society.
Entry requirements

This course requires four GCSEs at grade 2 or 3 (including English and maths) or a relevant qualification.

Assessments/Exams

There are no written exams on this course. All work will be assessed through various in house assessment methods.

What's next?

On successful completion of this course, you could go onto to study the Level 3 Diploma in Police, Crime and Community at the College.
