You will achieve a nationally recognised level 2 qualification and be able to evidence your competency to employers. This course is flexible, allowing you to study at a time that suits you, without the need to attend College.

  • This course is free, however if you do not complete it within an agreed timeline you will be required to pay a fee of £99.

Course information

You will complete seven workbooks via an eportfolio system

Unit 1 – Principles of providing administrative services.

Unit 2 – Principles of business document production and information management.

Unit 3 – Understanding communication in a business environment.

Unit 4 – Understanding employer organisations.

Unit 5 – Understanding how to develop working relationships with colleagues.

Unit 6 – Understanding how to carry out business administration tasks.

Unit 7 – Understanding how to store, retrieve and archive information.

There are no specific entry requirements for this course. This course would suit adult learners, those currently unemployed and those wishing to change their career to administration.

Please note that this course is only available to those 19 years old or over.

You will be assessed via the Learning Curve eportfolio system.

Upon successful completion of the course you may progress onto a related Apprenticeship at the College. You may also undertake further short courses including Lean Operations, Business Improvements and Team Leading.
