Do you want to know how to train as a chef? This chef course at City College Plymouth is awarded by City & Guilds and is a great route to a chef job working in the main section of a professional kitchen with fish, meat, poultry, and vegetables. Our chef training will develop your existing skills from experience working with a wide range of commodities in the preparation, cooking and presentation of dishes. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to work at external events all around Plymouth; last year’s highlights included MTV Crashes Plymouth and Flavour Fest.
To be successful on this study programme, we recommend that you first undertake the level 3 Professional Cookery diploma at College.
The assessment criteria for this course is still to be confirmed.
