About the course

In the UK, companies are legally required to adhere to certain practices that ensure discrimination is eliminated and expectations of equality are always met in the workplace. This course is a great way to ensure that you and the company you work for are aware of and adhering to these practices.

This two day course will cover:

  • why is equality and diversity important?
  • understanding the needs of individuals
  • respecting others and their needs
  • laws and legislations
  • important factors to ensure equality and diversity.

There are no specific entry requirements for this course.


A workbook will be submitted for assessment and there are no formal exams.

Following completion of this course you may find it beneficial to complete a First Aid course at the College.
