This is a formal, recognised qualification for existing or aspiring school staff who will have a good working knowledge of the job from experience they gain on placement.
The certificate is completed through a variety of mandatory units.

The certificate is gained through a mixture of workplace evidence and assignments which will build a portfolio that will be assessed by a College assessor.
On successful completion of this course, you may progress to a level 3 diploma or a Foundation Degree in a similar subject.
