About the course

This qualification will enable engineers to strength test, tightness test and purge non-domestic gas installations. It is mandatory for engineers to be Gas Safe Registered in this field, which has to be renewed every five years.

What you'll learn

The course covers all gas safety requirements and specific technical detail in testing and purging non domestic installations.

Entry requirements

Applicants must already hold a core gas qualification in non-domestic or catering – CODNC01, COCN1, CCCN1 or CODC1.


Both theoretical and practical tasks are required although both are open book tasks.

Fees quoted apply to courses starting in the academic year 2018/19 (August 2018 – July 2019). There may be a slight increase in fees for courses starting 2019/20.
