About the course

Do you want to work in transport? This IMI qualification in Transport Maintenance is a level 1 qualification at City College Plymouth. This course has no entry requirements, so is ideal for those who would like to learn about the maintenance of various types of transport and the job roles that are available within the sector.

Entry requirements

No formal qualifications are required, however a commitment to the course and an interest in the subject is recommended.


You will be assessed by an only exam and a practical assessment.

What's next?

Upon successful completion, you may wish to progress to a level 2 automotive course at the College.

Fees quoted apply to courses starting in the academic year 2017/18 (August 2017 – July 2018). There may be a slight increase in fees for courses starting 2018/19.
