This course has been designed in response to the exciting lifestyle of international events and festivals that you can be part of by planning and managing this rapidly expanding discipline. The events of today are fast becoming a range of activities that vary enormously in terms of scale and diversity from local weddings to international sporting occasions.

The nature of festivals has also undergone considerable change in recent years from historically being associated with specific dates to being an opportunity for a community to develop and share their culture and therefore generate increased business and employment.

The attraction for selecting this course comes from a desire to be involved in the running of the social events you may already attend such as a festival or a concert. The College environment provides additional opportunities to develop innovative aspects to curriculum delivery by utilising the many resource facilities and realistic working environments such as cultural festivals and themed parties in the College’s PL1 Restaurant.
