The OCNLR Level 1 Award in Understanding the Importance of a Balanced Diet and Regular exercise aims to help you understand the importance of a balanced diet and regular exercise to a healthy lifestyle. This Award is useful for those who want to know more about the topic in a personal or professional capacity.
This course will cover a range of topics including:
- the foods that are essential to a balanced diet
- how diet can contribute to a healthy lifestyle
- types of exercise and exercise recommendations
- how regular exercise contributes to a healthy lifestyle.
There are no specific entry requirements for this course.
There are no exams, but you will complete module assessments.
On successful completion of this course, you could go on to study the OCNLR Certificate in Awareness of Mental Health and Wellbeing.
